Today I embark on a long-awaited pilgrimage.
A journey not just for me, but a rite of passage for my son.
This will be his first true adventure abroad, his first real time on a plane (do we count when he was a baby?), and an ancestral journey that will root him in something bigger than himself. It’s a journey of stepping forward, of marking a moment in time before he moves into his teen years, before our relationship begins its next unfolding as he leaves childhood behind.
For me, it’s a mother’s pilgrimage, too. A chance to be fully present with him. To share stories and silence. To see him take in the world in a new way. These are the kinds of moments that shape a life. Core memories. Sacred time.
We’ll be visiting ancestral sites—places I never imagined my ancestors were affiliated with—before making our way to Iona for a week retreat on the sacred isle, in the shared company of beautiful people.
And as we begin this journey together, I’m also opening orders for the physical copy of Matter Matters.
This book has been a long time in the making. I was working on a course for nearly a year before I pivoted. I realized I wanted you to be able to hold something in your hands. At a third of the cost of a course. Something you could curl up with in a comfy corner, maybe with a cup of tea and a quiet moment.
We stare at screens too much.
This guide asks you to take a break.
It’s over 280 pages of sacred homemaking, ancestral wisdom, and the tender, powerful truth that our homes shape our lives—and we get to shape them in return.
✨ Choosing healthy, natural materials that support your body and energy
✨ Reducing EMFs and cultivating balance in your space
✨ Simple daily rituals that root you in presence
✨ Folktales and stories that remind us our homes have always been sacred
✨ Feminine archetypes that shape the way we tend, adorn, and dwell
✨ Practical and soulful ways to make your home a true sanctuary
This book is a companion. A guide. A touchstone.
Back to pilgrimage. I’ll be sharing our journey here—the landscapes, the lessons, the unexpected moments of grace—and on instagram. If you’d like to follow along, I’d love to have you as part of this unfolding story.
The path ahead is waiting.
The season is turning.
I’m so glad you’re here and I hope you enjoy my book!
